Ability to Trigger Cookie Declaration Popup from a Custom Button

Currently, the cookie declaration popup only appears when a user clicks “Show details” within the cookie banner. It would be very useful to have a way to open this popup programmatically from a custom button or link placed anywhere on the website (e.g., in the footer or on a dedicated Cookie Settings page).
This feature would:
Improve user experience by allowing easy access to cookie settings at any time.
Support GDPR/CCPA compliance by making consent management more accessible.
Provide more design flexibility since we could match the button/link to our website’s UI.

Hello there,
We’ve just added this functionality: you can now trigger the Cookie Declaration popup directly from any custom button or link on your site — no need to display the cookie banner first. This makes it easy to place a “Cookie Settings” link in your footer, on a dedicated page, or anywhere else you’d like.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set it up: https://help.cookie-script.com/en/articles/30244-display-cookie-banner-with-a-custom-link
Best regards,
