Make it clear the webiste needs a certificate with a valid Root CA to succeed

The Scan on our website always failed without a telling error message.
Coincidentally, we switched from a self signed Cert to a valid Root CA Cert, and suddenly the scan worked.
This Requirement was never communicated to us, nor did the error message hint at the certificate.
Please make this more clear.

Also, more generally, the scanner error message should include the reason.
This also goes together with setting the 24 h scan limit to apply only after a successful scan (that actually takes up resources to do), not after failed scans: https://cookiescript.canny.io/feature-requests/p/allow-rescan-on-failed-previous-scans
